Having a productive and positive routine in 2021 is going to be critical to achieving success. One of the first things you read in a billionaire’s success story is the power of a positive routine and dedication to work. A successful daily routine is routed in your desire to achieve and your ability to dedicate your time to improving yourself. So what’s a successful routine for you? How can you create the most impactful and efficient routine that moves you through the day, leading you to success?

Your morning routine is the pinnacle that sets the mood and tone for the rest of your day. Every morning your routine should hold 5 consistencies.
One: A solid wake-up time – I wake up no later than 6:30 AM every morning. If I can or want to wake up earlier, I do, but it’s usually no later than 6:30 and 7:30 on the weekends. This gives me an idea of how I need to plan my morning to start my day productively. Two: Your self-care routine – Your morning self-care routine is your time to get ready for the day—shower, hair, makeup, etc. I take this time to think about what my day will be like, what I need to get done, and more. Three: An energizer – Your breakfast, coffee, energy drink, whatever it is that gives you energy in the morning. It’s super important to start the day off with high energy to keep that productive mindset.
The second half of your morning is where you create the positivity for the day. Four: Movement – Whether you work out in the morning, do yoga, breathing exercises, go for a run, or whatever your cup of tea maybe, this step helps you release any tension and gain endorphins for the day ahead. Lastly, you should end your morning routine on a positive note. Do something that gives you a positive outlook and reminds you of something great. You can journal, write down a daily gratitude, affirmation, manifestation. This activity should provide happiness or guidance to lead you into a productive day.
As I said, your morning routine is the pinnacle for your day and sets the tone for how you’ll approach the rest of the day. The important thing to remember is not to let outside influencers disrupt your routine. What do I mean by that? Don’t let something as little as bad traffic or a long line at Starbucks on your way to work disturb the positive mindset you created for the day by completing a productive morning routine. As for your evening routine, this is your closing for the day. Your evening routine should be the time when you clean up the house, do your skincare routine, write about your day, plan for tomorrow, read, and relax. Try and establish a time when you’re not using technology; this will help clear your mind before bed.
A detailed and realistic to-do list should always dictate your time frame and amount of work for the day. The first thing I do every morning when I sit down at my desk is make my task list for the day. This helps me see what I hope to accomplish for the day and what will take the most time. A Positive impact habit is something you do consistently that betters you. Start by establishing just one positive habit into your routine every day. The habit can be something as small as beginning to write down a “win” for the day. Or something as big as reading 30 pages every day. Whatever new habit you choose to implement, make sure it’s something that will better you.
