Announcing: the La.Rue Creative Studio! Since launching La.Rue, I’ve been approached by friends, friends-of-friends, and strangers, to help them with their branding or designing their website. I can’t quite pinpoint why I’ve always said no to these people; it just wasn’t something I thought I wanted to pursue, and creative inclination doesn’t come easily or naturally to everyone. The ability to design and create something cohesive as a narration of something on its own has always been what felt like second nature. Over the last 18 months of building the La.Rue brand, I’ve continued to learn so much about branding, marketing, website building, etc. Each time I would have to learn something new or even the first time I overhauled my website, I didn’t dread learning the “how.”

Each time I dove into a branding or marketing project, I was excited to learn. Something about this work has always been fun. It was never something that overwhelmed me with the complexities of learning code or the intricacies of designing a website. When I decided to launch the La.Rue Creative Studio, it came out of motivation for expanding the brand and the realization that I wasn’t pursuing a second avenue of growth out of fear. The fear wasn’t based on a question of “can I do this?” But instead, it was born from a fear of success.

However, once I decided to launch the La.Rue Creative Studio, I was immediately overjoyed by the prospect of not just another entrepreneurship venture but another avenue to express my creative abilities.
