We’ve talked about routines several times on La.Rue. We’ve discussed how to build positive and healthy routines that develop your mindset, set intentions, and build on your goals. And in a few blogs, I’ve shared with you a few basic products that help me live intentionally. Well, today on La.Rue, I want to update that list and share with you the 8 essential products for intentional living. These products help me stay energized, feel good, motivated, or organized throughout my day. Each one of these products serves a purpose in my Intentional life, big or small, getting me through the day and my routines smoothly. As my routines and habits continue to develop, I’ll update you on what products become more or less essential, but for now, these are a few of the things that keep my day productive and moving.
Celsius
For years I’ve gone back and forth on energy drinks. I didn’t find them necessary for myself in college because all I drank and needed was coffee. Since I work out consistently, I wanted to find a healthy drink and an energy booster that I could drink before the gym each morning. Since I drink my coffee after the gym; I’ve been enjoying a Celsius first thing in the morning when I’m getting ready for the gym. It comes in a great variety of flavors and it’s got a lot of healthy ingredients to boost metabolism and energy. You can order a variety pack to try out many of the different flavors they have, but personally, I love the Orange and Wild Berry, two of their Sparkling flavors.
Physical Activity Membership
I wrote physical activity and not gym membership because I know many people prefer different things, and there are so many great options to get your blood flowing. At this point in my journey, I crave going to the gym. I love how it makes me feel and what it does for my mindset. I feel strong. After so many years of dance and physical activity, I missed this daily growth in strength. If you’re not someone who likes the gym, practicing any physical exercise daily to get your blood flowing and endorphins pumping is great for your mindset. When we practice any sort of physical activity, whether it be going for a walk, swimming, the gym, pilates, whatever your preference, it simply just makes us feel better and gives us an opportunity to think and process the day. I love this time alone.
Care/Of Vitamins
My Care/Of Vitamins are another product I’ve been using for months now that fit well into my daily routine. Several months ago, I met with my doctor and told her about the Care/Of service. She suggested vitamins I could take based on my current levels and balances. I also took the detailed Care/Of quiz that asks you questions of what you’re working on, for example, if you’re experiencing difficulties with hair loss, looking for prenatal vitamins, etc. Based on my doctor’s recommendations and the recommendations from the quiz, I began a daily vitamin pack that keeps me confident I’m getting the necessary vitamins I need. You can go to the Care/Of website to take the quiz and use my code, LLCT1P to receive 50% off your first order of monthly vitamins.
Arc Water Bottle
I used to have an issue with remembering to drink enough water throughout the day. Living in Florida with some intense heat and a thyroid condition that requires me to stay hydrated, I bought the Arc Water Bottle. This water bottle is time-stamped to remind you how much water you should be drinking throughout the day. I suggested this water bottle to a few friends who have family members with serious health conditions, and they’ve found it’s acted as a very helpful reminder to keep hydrated throughout the day.
6-Minute Diary
Back again, preaching to you the benefits of the 6-Minute Diary. I’ve been using the 6-Minute Diary for 9 months now, and it’s one of the first things I started doing in my Intentional Living journey. When I first began the diary, I was nervous to uncover deep emotional imbalances, so I answered the questions at the surface level. Once the diary was routine, I realized the importance of uncovering those feelings and addressing them daily. The diary offers reminders of gratitude, where you’d like to improve, and how you’re going to continue to improve. Those deeper emotional imbalances I was once scared to uncover have now been addressed through months of journaling and have offered me great opportunities for growth, change, and knowledge.
Daily & Weekly Planning Pages
I am a fanatic for organizational tools. The La.Rue Daily & Weekly Planning Pages are available to you in the shop for only $2.99. These planning pages, which you can either print or download to a computer or tablet, are fantastic for keeping your days, weeks, and life organized. The first thing I do each day when I sit down at my desk is organize my day and write out my to-do list. I fill out the weekly planning page on Sunday nights or Monday mornings, whatever you prefer based on your routine. I love these pages and have so much more great content planned if you’re a person who collects tools for organizing.
Microsoft OneNote
There are a lot of really tremendous organizing and note-taking apps out there. In the blog I wrote about Planners, I went over some of the best apps and planners for students and people with full-time positions to keep their projects and assignments organized. But as I’ve grown with blogging, I’ve needed to find the absolute best tools to keep all of my materials and content organized and protected. I’ve tried several apps but have found Microsoft OneNote to be the absolute best for not just keeping notes but keeping everything incredibly organized.
The Calm App
The last thing I tune into for the day is my clam app. This is a really wonderful meditation and, obviously, calming app that I use before I fall asleep. The Clam App has meditation uses, sleep stories, and claiming sounds to fall asleep to. I’ve been using the app for some time now, and I have really enjoyed some of the sleep stories. They relax and calm my senses before I fall asleep, and I often notice a difference in how I feel the next morning from when I use it versus when I don’t. Meditation and breathing exercises have become a part of my daily routine, so this app has helped incorporate that into my bedtime when I’m attempting to clear my mind and draw my energy from the earth.
